IS THE SIDELOAD TRAILER EASY TO REVERSE.
Contrary to some peoples beliefs the Sideload Trailer is as easy to reverse as any other trailer. Normally with its short length it could become a problem but as you can see the trailer in your mirrors all of the time you are able to react easily. Infact we have had people that have not reversed a trailer before, reversing easily with a little practice.

CAN I USE A TRAILER/CARRIER THAT IS FIXED TO THE TOWING VEHICLE AND HAVE SWIVEL WHEELS FITTED.
The easy answer is no you can not.
The simple definition of a trailer is that it must be a platform fixed to the towing vehicle by a single point and that point must swivel both in the vertical and horizontal plain.
If the platform is fixed to the towing vehicle by more than 1 point then it is not a trailer. The platform then becomes part of the towing vehicle and therefore comes under the towing vehicle regulations. As the towing vehicle would likely be over 750kg gross weight then all wheels would have to be braked and we have not found a braking system that works on a swivel wheel. You would also have to get your vehicle re type approved.
